Position Overview:
We're on the lookout for a full time Medical Assistant at our Des Plaines office to join our squad.
MAs will need to rotate to our Buffalo Grove office occasionally. Must be able to work an evening shift once a week (11a-7p). Will also need to work a Saturday shift (8-12) once every 1-2 months. We close the office at 3 pm Fridays so we get extra time to enjoy the weekend!
The Role:
As a Medical Assistant, you'll be the heart and soul of our practice. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to assist our team of medical magicians in providing top-notch care to our patients. From checking vital signs to giving injections to calming nervous patients with your super soothing bedside manner. We have a lot of opportunities to learn the world of OBGYN and make long lasting impressions to our amazing female patients.
Responsibilities:
- A heart as big as the universe and a passion for making a difference in patients' lives.
- Superhuman communication skills and the ability to leap tall medical jargon in a single bound.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred but not required – we'll train the right superhero!
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus, but we welcome fresh recruits eager to learn the ways of the medical universe.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality with the stealth of a ninja.
- Save the day by administering medications and injections like a true lifesaver.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures.
